Introduced by the Nitwit Valley HHH at their weekend, the Tour de Chug consists of a yellow, biking jersey similar to the maillot jaune of the Tour de France fame, 2 beer mugs, and a water-proofed list of rules. The wearer of the yellow jersey is subject to down-down challenges. The winner of the challenge is the hasher who finishes the mug of beer the fastest and without spillage.
The listed rules are basically summarized as:
- All challenges must be accepted.
- The winner of the challenge takes possession of and has to wear the yellow jersey.
- The Tour de Chug jersey wearer may defer a challenge if it occurs within 5 minutes of a previous challenge.
The 5 minute rule was instituted largely to protect the jersey wearer from fielding non-stop challenges whereby the challenger intentionally loses the challenge.
