Reading's annual pre-Independence Day Hash tradition. The July 4th hash starts at the early hour of 5:39AM at Mt Penn's fire tower. Occasionally, too much booze and too many poppers cause some members of our local poofter community to pass out in their cars. On this special day we celebrate our freedom and wake up the drowsy pole smokers by mashing ready-to-hash buttocks against their car windows.
