There was no Hash House Harriers in Copenhagen, when 3 well-travelled Danish Hash Souls Kaj "Der Tulip Eater" Petersen from Kowloon
H3, Poul "Erik" Dam from Seoul H3, Steffen "Highjump" Harpøth from Taipei H3 and one American, Bob "Pathfinder" McMakin from Houston H3
founded the 1st Danish Hash House Harriers. The 1st Run took place on March 15th 1980 by the small group of founders, friends and friends
of friends. Originally CH3 was founded as a male-only club, but some Americans soon brought their girlfriends along making the trail even
more attractive. Since then the club has been a large mixed club today with more than 60 active members and 35 Out of the Loopsters.
From the beginning, CH3 has runs on Saturday afternoons in the winter and Monday evenings the rest of the year. This is still the case 28
years later. But there have been periods where runs have been moved to Sundays due to monthly excessive Saturday shopping of female
Hashers.

Closing Hymn
The circle is ended with “The Copenhagen Hash House Harriers Hymn”. A crate of beer (with at least one full beer) is placed in the centre of
the circle before the hymn is started.
